The Next Valley Over

Meaning that while we're all there for the same reason, you've got those that are happy to stay in the "designated" waters and those that are always looking towards The Next Valley Over.

In searching for that valley, some fishing days look like driving around too long on gravel roads and getting lost on trails. It means slipping on rocks and coming home with more bruises than fish. Sometimes there are too many tourists and not enough river.

That's part of the journey. It's part of seeking out the unknown and finding new treasured places.
