After a few days on the road, and a quick stop in Kentucky for some bourbon to help soothe our transition back to the East Coast, we've made it back to North Carolina. And, back to work.
Jacob has been busy with trips and I've put in some long hours with a sewing machine, we're both thankful for work after our month of playing in the mountains with cutthroat.
Right before we left I began doing a few bags here and there made with a lighter, 3 oz fabric. They've become popular among some local builders and so, I've decided to put them in the shop as the Lightweight. This bag is very basic, no cuff and the seams go straight to the top. The whole design of this bag, including the lighter fabric, is perfect for bamboo makers or anyone who prefers a smaller diameter rod tube; this bag is all about as little bulk as possible!
I also want to go ahead and make all my customers aware that I have increased my prices. Unfortunately, due to the elevated price of fabric and thread, I've had to bump up my prices, too.
As always, thanks to all of my loyal customers for keeping me busy (and out of the bars) and helping sustain the little dreaming of mine!
I can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds!
